I never knew what you really needed and how much money you had to actually put in to make a transport company work. I had purchased the building that i would be using as my station for the vehicles i had purchased. The company i had bought was a haulage company that me and a group of friends had all clubbed together to create. The idea came about one night when i had some friends over for a drink after the company we had been working for laid a load of its employees off. We were just chatting about how good it would be if we could find a company that would employ us all together so that we could still work together.

We had all been working together for about 8 years together so we were all devastated to lose the job we had all loved so much. We all came up with the idea of owning a haulage company at my home and after a lot of thinking and disputing we finally settled on the idea and decided that we had to give it a go. It could only go 2 ways, we either win or we fail.

The first thing that we decided that we needed to do was sort out the insurance for motor trade. And as they were soon to discover, the insurance for motor trade is the most expensive thing that they had to deal with in the whole business. They were able to buy 8 vehicles along with a further 2 buildings. The insurance for motor trade they decided that it would be best to pay it monthly just in case the business fell through and didn't work. The company was very successful in its first year but for some reason they were still losing money and they couldn't find any way that this was happening. They seemed to be in profit but money was just disappearing in to thin air or so it seemed. They thought it may have been the insurance for motor trade that was eating up the money until the owner came in to work early one morning and finding the one person who was supposed to be his best friend rummaging through the safe and the desk drawers looking for money. He immediately rung the police and now the man is serving his time for the money he made the company lose and the company is forever growing and growing rapidly.
