Last weekend myhusbanddid an extremely crazy thing. He went out and bought himself a motorcycle. All these years that we have been married I knew that one day he would go through a mid life crisis and I have been expecting it all along, but I guess I had always thought he would buy a red sports car and not a motorcycle. So what does a wife do in these circumstances? She goes out and gets her husband a life insurance policy. He said that even the bike salesman who sold him the bike told him that it was a good idea to get an insurance policy, so he agreed to let me get some quotes and find him one.

As to how I feel about the dangers of my 45 year old husband riding around in a motorcycle, well I am not exactly happy about it. I am pretty upset in fact and think a lot of it has to do with his friends. He has had the same friends for over 20 years and they always like to do crazy things but I wish they would think just for a minute about how dangerous getting in an accident could be. Not just dangerous either but life threatening, I don't know what the actualstatisticsare because I am afraid to look them up but I know that in most motorcycle accidents the rider is more likely to die than in a regular vehicle accident.

I wish that he would realize that if this new little hobby is serious enough that he needs a life insurance policy to do it, that it maybe it's not the right hobby for him. Unfortunately he is not seeing it as serious as I am and thinks it's no big deal at all. I don't know why the fact that he has to insure his life is notsinkingin to that little brain of his. Well, all I can really do until he snaps out of this stupid stunt is get him the best life insurance policy and hope and pray that he is safe when he goes out riding.

This life insurance policy will not replace my husband is anything should happen to him, but at least it will make sure that we are covered financially in case. For all our sakes though, I hope that my husband will not keep up this hobby very long. Maybe next time I will go with him and help him buy the red sports car.
